Sewa Sanitary Pad Yojna
The SEWA Sanitary Pad Scheme aims to support women in leading a healthy, hygienic, and dignified life. Under this scheme, women are provided 6 packets of sanitary pads for only ₹190, enabling them to maintain proper hygiene during menstruation and prevent various health problems.
Keeping in mind the needs of women from weaker sections of society, the scheme also provides special benefits.
Under this scheme, widowed and differently-abled women are given financial assistance of ₹500, so that they can meet their daily needs and health-related expenses. This assistance is provided with the aim of strengthening their self-respect and self-reliance.
In addition, pregnant women also receive special benefits under the scheme. If a pregnant woman gives birth to a girl child, the organization provides an incentive amount of ₹1000. The objective of this initiative is to encourage the birth of girls, promote a positive attitude towards daughters, and strengthen the importance of girls in society.
